The Purpose of Cobalt is to re-enforce the parents-child relationship in situations where either children or parents may have become immune to realistic solutions and objectivity in the process of wanting to resolve issues.
To create an environment conducive to friendship and trust between children and mentors that stimulates self-actualization and heartistic expression.

Mr. Jin Kwon Kim who was orchestrating the meeting reminded the few parents gathered there about the importance of being on time...and as people started to come after the hour, he kept addressing the issue of lateness to the extend that it was a demonstration of how much time one can waste for an entire group.
The main topic was to introduce the CoBaLT project to parents and inform them about the purpose of intent this project is designed for, and the active participation parents can have in the process.
The main concern that is at the core of the CoBaLT project reside in seeking to provide an environment that respond to a need of the 2nd generations to express themselves beyond the parameters of the family unit. The reasons for such a need is many folds; yet, without analyzing the details of what causes such a need to appear, it is important as parents, to work on seeking positive results by adopting an attitude of mentorship toward children who feel more comfortable by expressing and sharing outside the parameters of the family unit.
The role parents plays, and parents who are willing to take a position of counselors as aunts and uncles to the children, as Mr. Jin Kwon Kim puts it, would be the base for a freer interaction and deeper bounds with the children.
Regular meetings or conference calls would be at the foundation of this project to monitor all types of processes and developments.
